Henry's first time wheels down on the track

Last Saturday at Hellyer, an historic moment. Perhaps the beginning of an era . . .

  1. Hello, I've enjoyed reading a bit of your blog. I am a cyclist and graduate student living in Santa Barbara, California. I am fascinated by Japanese Keirin racing. I study cooperation in sports and everyday life. I am aware riders, especially from the same schools will form partnerships, and help each other win by riding in lines. Do you know, how do they decide who will go for a win in a particular day? Do they take turns? If so, what if one is having a particularly bad day although it is her/his turn to go for the win? Any insight, even brief, that you can give me would help out my research and curiosity on this topic.
